It is a very process-driven role, as you must follow instructions, processes and procedures clearly and correctly at all times - keeping paperwork trails and reports up to date whilst you work. You must be efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring you achieve quotas and deadlines on a daily and weekly basis.
A warehouse operative can be a very manual and physical job, requiring the movement of products and packages across and throughout the warehouse. The warehouse environment is also more similar to working outdoors, with many places of work being at lower temperatures.
